Calcium looping to capture CO2 from industrial processes
101075416
To create a prototype for a new calcium looping system to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) from lime production, thereby capturing more than 99% of CO2 emissions from the process industry. Calcium cycling is a process in which limestone is used to absorb CO2 from production gases with low concentrations of this gas.. CELSA acts as a source of low-concentration CO2, providing data on its EAF waste gases to carry out simulations and economic assessments that contribute to optimising the system.
