Merchant Bars

CELSA Group™ has an extensive range of merchant bars suitable for infinite applications in sectors as diverse as naval, automotive, forging, calibration, construction, agriculture and mining.

The flat and square bars, of rectangle and square cross-section respectively, are offered in multiple qualities and dimensions, the most common being the S-275 JR, S-355 J2 and C45 (F 1140), of dimensions between the 14x3mm up to 400x40mm, in the case of flats bars and 10 to 50mm for squares.

The angles, bars whose cross-section forms a right angle, and which stand out mainly for the application as structural elements for the construction of electric towers, have a range of products from the 25x3mm to the 200x24mm, manufactured in various qualities, the most common being the S-275 JR, S-355 J0 and S-355 J2.

The round bars and special quality bars (SBQ’s), with a circular cross-section of 10 to 42mm, are mainly offered in low carbon S-235 JR, S-275 JR, SAE 1018, S-355 J0 and S-355 J2; medium carbon C35, C40 and C50; and high carbon C75. We also offer free cutting steels 11SMn30/37 and 11SMnPb30/37, alloyed or micro-alloyed 18CrMo4, 42CrMo4, 16CrMnS5, 41Cr4, etc. The manufacturing of bars has lines of straightening, cut to measure, beveled and detection of defects to offer greater guarantees of quality.
