Biomass as a high-performance renewable fuel
101118241
To demonstrate how two renewable fuels can be produced from biological and non-biological waste: dimethyl ether (rDME) and synthetic natural gas (SNG).. Celsa will provide waste samples from our scrap shredding process to test the two new gasification technologies developed in the project. Specifically, we will use automotive shredder residue (ASR), which is rich in plastics, to evaluate the performance of these technologies with our materials. We will also carry out simulations on the potential consumption of synthetic natural gas (SNG) in our furnaces to replace natural gas.
