The project develops a digital platform that automates the design of automotive components, integrates machine learning and life cycle analysis to select more sustainable materials, with an emphasis on aluminium, and generates digital product passports that certify their traceability. In doing so, Digi4Circular enables circular design processes, reduces environmental impact and improves data management throughout the value chain. Celsa's involvement: FERIMET, the CELSA Group's scrap processing company, supplies secondary aluminium and key data on material flows, contributing to the traceability necessary to develop and integrate the Digital Product Passport within the value chain.
