CELSA Group has been recognized by SAP with an award for innovation in Human Resources

 

  • The company, which has implemented a human capital management tool throughout the Group’s European area, reaffirms the important role of internal communication in bringing roles, functions, languages, and cultures closer together among CELSA Group’s team of professionals.

 

Barcelona, March 15th, 2023CELSA Group, a leading company in Europe in the manufacture of circular and low-emission steel, has recently been recognized with an SAP Innovation Award for its SAP WorkZone project, the new portal that confirms the strategic role of internal communication as a tool for the entire team of professionals in the Group in Europe.

The award was presented during the event organized by SAP HR Connect 2023, which took place in Madrid and brought together HR professionals from leading companies in Spain, as well as technology experts. The objective of the conference was to share experiences and success stories, such as the case of CELSA Group, with its successful implementation and management of the SAP SuccessFactors WorkZone portal.

According to the Chief People Officer of Celsa Group, Pere Oteo, “this new portal accompanies our story of promoting digitalization and innovation within the internal processes of CELSA Group”.

Oteo explains that from the organization “we want to provide accessible, transparent and attractive tools to communicate, where we can all participate and contribute. In this way, we gain in interaction and bidirectionality between us,” he adds.

“SAP SuccessFactors WorkZone allows us to reach all professionals, have metrics that help us direct the strategy and measure the effectiveness and penetration of content while improving the Employee Experience,” explains Beth Canals, Head of Internal Communications and Talent Management BP at CELSA Group.

With WorkZone, CELSA Group promotes collaborative, participatory communication and transversality , and also has metrics to measure the effectiveness and penetration of content, direct the strategy of the people, communication and training area and improve the employee experience in general.
With this new tool, CELSA Group brings together all the applications and contents of the Group to be more effective and efficient on a day-to-day basis and to share in the same space contents of the different business units and corporate team throughout its scope of implementation that currently includes 9 countries.

The award for the best SAP HR Innovation project recognizes Celsa Group as pioneers in launching a fully personalized and collaborative digital experience to all the group’s professionals through the creation of a digital work office where all the people of the Group can access applications, business processes, relevant information and communication from a single entry point with your Workzone deployment. This award recognizes Celsa Group’s commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and rapid adoption of new trends and best practices in HR processes for more than 20 years.
